Has anyone seen this movie? I did and I loved it. I highly recommend it...I think it's the best movie I've seen all year- better than the Skeleton Key!
Rachel McAdams is now one of my favorite actresses.

I'm usually not one for thrillers, as I scare really easily, but I'm actually looking forward to watching this one. Rachel McAdams is gorgeous and talented, and it's nice to see her in a variety of genres.
I heard that the first half is pretty good but then the last half gets really stupid and predictable.
Personally.. I won't see anymore Wes Craven movies in theaters any longer.
The man has definetly lost his touch when it comes to horror/suspense movies.
I know i do not like wes craven at alllllllll. his movies to me are just stupid teenagers running and screaming from vampires or something. i hadent planned on seeing red eye only because it was by him but by all the good marks it got i do plan on seeing it.
It was pretty good. I saw it last week. Cillian Murphy was awesome. My biggest problem with the movie though was how so many things couldn't happen in real life, especially in the second half of the movie. I was just sorta like 'I can't believe they actually put that in the script!'
But the trailers make it seem like it's this Girl goes on plane to see dad. Girl meets boy on plane. Girl likes boy. Boy turns out to be crazy. Boy gives her an ultimatum: either she dies or he kills her dad. Girl and boy get off the plane and it's now a thriller movie to see how she will stop him from killing her and her dad. The end.

Actually: (warning: SPOILER!)
He lets her choose, her dad or someone who works for the U.S. government (secretary of defense).

It's basically a dumbed-down Collateral on a plane, which is good in my book, considering how Collateral is my favorite movie of all time. I definitely enjoyed it. For some reason, the whole unwilling-captive-forced-to-carry-out-captor's-evil-plans dynamic just gives me chills. Good chills.
I was half planning to see this movie (only because the trailer had Lifehouse playing in the background, so it caught my eye... err... ear). But now that it sounds like a good movie, I might actually go see it.
