Winter is coming, and I'm sad that summer is over :(

Added: I have had an awful cough for about a week, but thankfully no other symptoms as of yet.

Physically: sick (I've got a bad cold or a mild flu, I'm not sure which).
Emotionally: super excited -- I just found out I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (I can't say exactly what it is yet, and it's not life-changing or anything, but it's related to a certain book series that I like).

Optimistic, though I have plenty to feel dread about. As ever, just need to make sure I'm always working on something, and that what I'm working will bring some worth to me in the long run. The very act of doing that will dispel the constant doubt. Hopefully. ;)

Exhausted. I just worked outside in wet, cold conditions the past two nights. It just started raining, and I think I might have turned into Johanna Mason from the Hunger Games -- the sound alone made me want to cry, even though I'm inside.

Grumpy. Pretty sure Little P picked up a runny nose from one of his buddies (whose mom didn't bother to tell us he was sick until after they played together, ugh). The timing of said cold is just not helpful, as we've got a lot going on this weekend and if he's sick still, it's going to make things much more difficult.

Great! I have survived the week :-)

I completed everything - on time, no less. I actually amazed myself that I got it all done, and left work "early" (5:40!) tonight.

Very happy

I've been isolated for the past month, so...lonely? Hard to say, given that I chose to isolate myself due to personal reasons (reasons that I've made public but whatever). I know I'm missing out on folk and their company, but I also know I'm in no capacity to socialize with folk either. So I know I'm doing good for all parties, and they are understanding for the most part, so...would "distant" be a better description of me in the now? o_O

I am in ill humor today. Yesterday was catching up on postponed/delayed projects around the house day and hopefully finish car repairs day. It was good and bad. But the not good items left a really bad taste in my mouth. While changing the under sink Reverse Osmosis filters, the cap on the RO Cartridge Housing split upon re-installation. OEM part is over $100. I managed to track down the company that made the housing in the first place. Their price is much better - closer to $6 - but I can't call them until tomorrow to find out where to buy it. Successfully replaced the split radiator on the car (that was a pain). I think I also found the root cause of the car's overheating problems - the radiator fan is shot. It doesn't always start unless you manually give it a starting push, so when it doesn't start up on its own (which it should every time), no air is getting pulled through the radiator. This means yet another expensive part to replace. OEM/Ford price is $280, but I found it for a much better price on Amazon of all places (and it was Prime, too!).

On top of everything else, because I haven't been able to do this kind of work that I have needed to do for a while, I ended up with an exploded blister in the palm of my hand. Its not bad, I guess, as its only 1/2" in diameter and it is already healing nicely. Neosporin is awesome.

Apparently, I'm feeling a bit rambly today, too :P

Hmm, let's see....

Grumpy, disappointed, frustrated, peed-off beyond all reason, emotional, stressed...etc, etc.

I have been an emotional roller-coaster for around 2 weeks and it is making me sick. So finally I go to the GP and get it all off my chest, only to be treated like crap by the most arrogant chauvinistic pig I have ever met. After all that, all I needed was a blood test to confirm what the doctor suspects is wrong. I now have to wait a few more days before finding out the results.

To make me feel worse, TNT has not looked at my ticket yet, so I still can't socialise with anyone on Neopets. Nothing is going right and I feel so dejected.

I just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and hope that things look better in the new day.

Exhausted, stressed, and ready for the next 4 weeks or so to be over with. Between hosting a party for Mr. P's work this weekend, Thanksgiving (and having some relatives for that) next week, Mr. P being gone so much for rehearsals and now working late several night a week, I'm a bit frazzled. Little P is cranky, too, because he misses spending time with Mr. P. Ah well. Once Christmas gets here, and Mr. P has several days off in a row, maybe then I'll get a break...

At least everything is still going well with Baby P! She doesn't seem to be phased by any of it, as she reminds me by squirming and kicking with a ridiculously amount of energy all the time!

Tired. I spent the entire day traveling to Mexico. Glad to be heading home, but according to the traffic information on my phone, the drive back to my car (I carpooled with a co-worker) is going to be 2-1/2 hours from now. Then it's only another 30 minutes home from there. At least I did my dailies early this morning.

And so it begins. Sigh. 45 minutes for Little P to fall asleep instead of 10, because he couldn't give his Daddy a hug goodnight before bedtime. This is going to be a LONG next week.

If I make it to next Monday and am still sane, it'll be nothing short of a miracle...

ETA: Well, it's Tuesday and we're still mostly sane. A bit behind on several things, but mostly sane. Here's hoping that Little P gets readjusted to things being "normal" again quickly!

Ready for December to be over. My mom fell and broke her hip and shoulder coming back from her Thanksgiving trip, and she has to have both of them replaced; her surgeries are this coming Thursday and Friday (assuming the infection she developed has actually cleared -- she'll find that out Monday). And my cousin had a massive stroke yesterday and is still in a coma. Plus a dear friend's grandmother died. If bad things come in threes, I think I'm done for a while.

ETA: Sad. My cousin died.
