Has anyone noticed the sudden onslaught of Scamanders in the Money Tree today? All of them sent by Scamander-in-chief, and impossible to catch -- they wiggle through your fingers and run away...

The suspicious side of me wonders if, perhaps, this mission isn't totally complete just yet...Or, perhaps, a new plot being quietly introduced?

The Scamanders happen at the same time every year.


All the missions are complete, but as the villian got away, we may need to catch him before we get our prize.

The event started in the Lost Desert Plot, October 12 2005. At the time most working on the plot thought it was a clue. It seemed to be TNT's cruel sense of humour.

The event has taken place each year since 2005, on the 12th.

If anyone is interested in back history, the start of it is in Lost Desert Plot Discussion #79 (General Chat).

A lot of answers can be found by using the Search function on the top menu of PPT.

Some Petpet or another seems most likely... though it could always be an assortment of useless Petpet foods / beds / scratching poles / whatever....

I'd have to agree that the prize will be some kind of petpet. Hopefully it will be very limited edition petpet, like the Hobans Hat prize from the Cyodrake's Gaze mini-plot - it's currently trading for ~4.5m on the TP! Of course, I didn't quite earn the top prize on that one. I earned the Hobans Map Book which is "only" about 320k on the TP.

I seem to recall them saying something like that.

I still told my brother about it and he went through the plot this weekend, though, just for kicks. He spent half of the afternoon making fun of the cybunny after doing that part.

Are we able to take part in the Petpet Park plot on our side accounts? From what I've gathered we won't win items, trophies, or other prizes usually associated with plots, so I'm just checking to see if the rules are different for this plot than other plots. ;D ~splenetic
No; you will be receiving Petpet Park items from your participation. Please only enjoy plots on your main account.

So...looks like the items are indeed for Petpet Park only.
