Wow, some great work there guys! It was sure tough to vote--you all covered such a spectrum of style and medium that each piece felt like it could've been best in its own category.

*facepalm* Kill me now I was about to critique one of them. Very cool! Byakura did you do a lino cut? Thats awesome. I love lino cut prints, or really any sort of prints. Prints are fun!

Yep, it's a lino. I had a few good color ones, but they're all framed at the bottom of my stairs so I had to settle for one of the less-clean prints.

I still love it! Thats awesome! Lino's really interesting isn't it? did you print it by hand or with a press? It looks like it's embossed the paper quite a bit.

I did it by hand. The embossed look is probably just because I had done that particular print on tracing paper and I put a piece of white paper behind it for a cleaner scan; consequently, it probably picked up a little texture there.
Did you use printing ink or something else? Did you roll it on? It looks a bit thick. There's a perfect sound you hear when you're rolling out printing ink. It's amazing how oddly glorifying that sound is.
