Re: How are you feeling? [Split]
Tired and grumpy, and sick of all the paperwork that has accompanied my husband starting back to school again. Gah. How hard is it for the registrar's office to provide a single piece of paper that states he has started school? I mean, seriously!
Re: How are you feeling? [Split]
You'd be surprised. My academic results from last semester got lost in the mail, and my university tried to get my credit card details so they could resend a single sheet of paper. Postage was all of 50c.
Apparently, the $12.5k I pay in tuition each semester doesn't cover events like this.

Gone, forever.

Was verbally abused in town today by some human vermin and his girlfriend (I assume, I don't know and don't rightly care)
I looked him squarely in the eye and said with utter conviction "It's generally a bad idea to annoy someone who cannot be held accountable in court"
Who cares if it ain't true (I could, in theory, get a diminished sentence) it's funny and it worked.
So... I'm pretty happy that I didn't resort to direct threats of violence to solve an issue that was swiftly aggravating me, I'm learning quickly.

Re: Alex -> Gah. Sometimes school administrations are extremely irritating!
I normally wouldn't be quite so irritated, but the problem is, until they give him that piece of paper, we can't get medical insurance taken care of, so it's slightly more pressing than usual.
On a brighter note, we got our DDR pads and computer converter (finally!) last night, so we'll be able to start playing today after we get everything finished setting up on Stepmania! (yeah for open-source computer versions of fun games!)

I'm amused by the fact that our fridge at work stopped working last night - it was at 11 degrees, and the chef who checked it last night wrote it down as 11 degrees, but didn't sit there and go 'oh, there's a problem, let's do something about it,' resulting in there being about 5 chefs there today instead of 2 because they had to redo all the prep that was in the fridge (incidentally, the largest, requiring the most stuff)...
I wonder, would your company charge that chef the cost of the wastage? I know ours would.
Although, we never officially check the temperatures of the fridges, only the food in the display counter (at 11.30 and 4.30), but we almost always fake it.

Annoyed. The people who came up with the assignments and schedule are definitely out to destroy us. Ugh.

Awww...
I'm kinda tired, and not looking forward to a long day, but at the same time, hyper! We played Stepmania for about an hour last night, and it rocked!!

Extremely upset, a so-so amount of lonely, a fair amount of tired, a little nervous, and anticipating being exhausted.
Sounds like a usual school day, but I will cover the gamut in about a hour or so once I get to campus.

I can't stand it when someone gets a case of the "yawnies" and they just won't go away and start to get really, really annoying after a while.
