You said it. I kept DVDs playing in a window next to the game the whole time. I went through a whole season of Babylon 5 the last day. I had already watched the entire runs of Justice League, JLU, Brimstone, and several other shows. There's no way I could have posted as many games as I did if I actually had to pay attention to them.

I should've used those methods, lol!

i wish the 'watch something else' method worked for me, but i can't multi-task that well. even when looking at the screen it could take me a while to get a goal.

I played music, and chatted with my fellow Tyrannians between games. It was amazing how much quicker time went when I had music on.

As glad as I am to have reached all my goals, I definately won't be playing nearly as much next year. It's just not worth it, especially during the most beautiful part of summer.

Aww, that's a shame. I guess I'm lucky being able to multi-task.
Things are slightly slower at work today, so I figured I'd see how well I can remember what all movies we went through during the Cup:
Hook, Ever After, Princess Bride, Willow, Showboat, at least two seasons of Hogan's Heroes, all 6 Star Wars movies (over a weekend...in order), Star Trek IV, V, VII, VIII, and IX, Aladdin, Anastasia, Court Jester, Little Mermaid, Men In Black, and at least a couple others, but I can't remember anymore off hand. I think we watched more movies over the second half of the cup (when we actually really cracked down) than we have in the previous 3 months!
{goes off to continue waiting on prizes} I know the odds aren't good...but maybe they'll be out for the weekend?

I was looking through my SDB, and found what I'd gotten last year - the Altador Colosseum Stamp, which is now worth like, 600k-700k, as compared to the Yooyu, which I bought, and is still only worth 350k-400k (but had cost more plot points to get, go figure). My husband has the Underdog book, and it's worth at least 500k now. I suppose if I wanted to sell the stamp, I could...but I tend to hold onto plot prizes for sentimental reasons (kinda like the 5 books from the Lost Desert plot - there's something about seeing the "Anubis Toxicology Reports" book that brings both shudders and reminiscent feelings...).

I was doing something similar, too.
One year ago, I decided to gave up better prizes to get 2 “Underdog History”. A fine investment.
Barelly reaching level 7, I’ll probably don’t have much points to do such investments this year, however.
Here's hope for some jester-based clothing, in honour of Roo.

If you look at most of the new items they're mainly customizable, but i do think there will be some normal items too for prizes. I say there will definetly will be some form of customizable items.

Maybe some of the prizes will be team jerseys (that are actually wearable!). I'd definitely like a jersey! Books would be nice too and plushies (since I collect those).
