I was rooting for France because I can't stand the amount of diving Italy does but I must France dove a lot in that game too. They got they're only goal from diving so congrats to Italy they deserved it. Zidane should watch his temper though :x

I'm just suprised at the amount of force Zidane can expell with the use of his head. Surely if he hit the ball with that powerhouse there'd be no stopping it.

1. I wanted Italy to win.
- They were the best team in the tournament from the start.
- I like the way they play.
- I hate Thierry Henry and to see him lose yet another Championship is always good.

2. Zidane is a complete idiot, but I can't help seeing the funny side. What a way to end it! I don't feel sorry for France at all. Zidane probably could have won it for them, but we'll never know- neither of them could get the ball in after their first goals.

Well, Zidane shouldn't have done that. However, they say that the Italian player said a raical slur to him.. And, I'm really disapointed at some of the Italian fans here in T.O.

Down at St.Clair St, they reacted to the headbutt with people running on the streets calling for "revenge".

Ha Ha revenge^^ What are they gonna do send hate mail?

I disagree. Zidane is totally awesome. He was awesome for doing that.(Not quite sure at that moment...) He probably wanted to go out with a bang, and he certainly succeeded. I don't like Buffon, or for that matter half the other Italian players. They are sneaky, and dive practicly every chance they get.(Yes France did it too)

But more power to Italy for winning. Yay Italy. (*Sob* France..next four years....)

True, someone said earlier it was some sort of racial slur..I don't know but Zidane never gets angry so it must have been something bad...

I wish that clip would go longer so I could see the other players reactions. (especially the Italians)

I heard it was something about his family, this is what professional lip readers for the BBC are saying.

EDIT:
And pics can be found at "http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/pgStory?contentId=5770592&pageNumber=26"

The Paris-based anti-racism advocacy group SOS-Racism issued a statement Monday quoting "several very well informed sources from the world of football" as saying Materazzi called Zidane a "dirty terrorist." It demanded that FIFA investigate and take any appropriate action.
