well, yes. ixis are supposed to be goats or at least small deer. But the tyrannian ixi is actually a lupe.

Barely though! the ears changed shape, the hooves are covered up, the lower legs thickened, the tail lengthened, the fur got longer and thicker, and, worst of all, the jaw/muzzle grew.

now i don't have TOO MUCH of a problem with the teeth being carnivorous, although it is kinda dumb to have a carnivorous thing become an herbivore. but *Shrug*. the thing that really bothers me is the muzzle changing so drastically, so that (visually on the screen) it moves from being in front of the eyes to all the way back to behind the eyes, and from being basically flush with the front of the face, to being something that really sticks out in front.

i know that my words don't describe the mechanics of a real animal that looks like this picture (ie all jaws just go back to end under the cheeks), but i'm just trying to get the point across about the drawing.

in fact, I *love* the mutant, which is completely mutated and yet still completely ixi.

Longer Ears
"Unnatural" Ixi position
Enlarged Body Part (Nose vs Jaw)
Carnivore Teeth
Odd fuzzy thing on the back

Personally, I see a lot of similarities between the Mutant and Tyrannian Ixi.

Anyone has a clue about when may the buzz be painted tyrannian?
cuz i just got mine, and i was hoping on getting the pb right away, but still think it's not out yet... -_-

Looks like it's in the limbo plane with mutant gelert, bori, and uni...oh and darigan kacheek. =/ I'm kinda glad my insanity for it has died now, but I still want it released. I'm assuming something wasn't good for it to be released...too non-neopetsy? Might have to wait till Buzz day for it now.
