Advent Calendar - prizes in July

The Advent Calendar says you can "collect my prize" but when you click on it you get this:

ERROR : But its not the month of Celebrating!

It is one of the strange things that is in the news:

There have been reports of some strange events happening around Happy Valley and Terror Mountain. Maybe you should head over there to see what's going on!

You find 1000 Neopoints!!!

You find a Beach Sandcastle Set!!!

You also find a Tropical Swim Trunks!!!

I do not think that this is a glitch. There is also a neat little flash that says month of swimming 6, which is today.

It isn't a glitch. It does have them in summer wear, trying to inflate an airtube for swimming like you would at the beach and another with a snorkle. I didn't get anything from it though either.

And I would think a new animation would mean that it is a glitch seeing as how they can remove the button and still have the animation up if they so choose. Seems more than likely this is part of some sort of Christmas in July thing.

I only bother to go to the advent calander in december.. does it not usually have an animation any other month?

I don't believe it is a glitch. Just a fun thing that TNT has done.

For Australians (like me) it is winter in July, and some places actually have "Christmas in July". It is kind of a sweet thing for Neo to do.

No, there are no animations during the rest of the year, but if you refresh there, you get a Winter Random Event.

hmm. could it be a chance for us to get the winter sidebar again?

rmb last yr they said the winter sidebar was not randomly given out when ppl collected their advent calendar prizes?

mebbe this is the chance for us to get the winter sidebar again?

Good idea - I wonder what it would take to get it though? No-one is sure how they got it, even at Christmas time.

Maybe a new plot (hopeful) but we just had a news day of a blizzard in July ...so why not? It's a cute little animation.

Christmas in July's neat idea... Coincidence that Jazzmosis's also playing in concert??

New (?) theory for the Winter sidebar... Anyone watch the Christmas Jazzmosis concert in December that did or didn't get it?

I've bought a coupl of those tickets (shows retired) but just in case, I'll be ready.

What I meant was that the 'Collect My Prize!!!' button not working is a glitch ("ERROR : But its not the month of Celebrating!"). The animation is obviously meant to play today. I think they intended to give out some prize, but forgot to turn off the code that checks if it is the month of Celebrating.

Either that or they're just playing bad jokes on us. The free Dirt Pie from the Symol Hole didn't work as advertised either.

Hmmm....I've a feeling that "But it's not the month of Celebrating" is intentional. I think there's a good possibility that there may be a specific time or day when something can be obtained there (think Symol Hole, Turmuculous, Snowager, etc) and it's for us to figure out. Either that or TNT's just having some fun making us wonder about it.

That is why I think it is not a glitch. If it was a glitch you wouldn't get the error message - it just wouldn't work.

That is something TNT deliberatly put there as a joke. :lol:
