The chances are, you would be dead before you even got near the core, what with the crampt spaces, lack of oxygen, risk of your hole collapsing, starvation, dehydration, insanity.. But who cares? Let's dig.

I totally don't get this. If I dug a straight hole, it wouldn't go through the center of the earth, because I'm not at the Equator. So, I can't exactly dig a straight hole through the middle of the earth, it would be *quite* angled.
