News 11/30 - Holy cow a new species!

:o That was a surprise. Its alright though, quite cute actually. I hate the weird coloured glow they have in there eyes and the name is pretty awful. It reminds me of an Eevee for some reason.

I thought of an eevee at first, too. I also thought it was a drastic Wocky revamp, like from the Tasu to the Eyrie or something. I was confused until I realized it was a new species

I think it's a little better than just ok, but I'm not about to go out and create one or anything.

I just read the news today and I have to say I am not too impressed with the new species. Overall it looks like a wocky given stripes and Korbat ears. It is cute, but I'd have liked to have seen something a little more original, say....like a Xquid. I mean, that is what I made up to fill the missing X in the long list of neopets. There wasn't one for X. And well, a squid would have been different at least. This thing, well it is cute and everything, but I just don't see how it is much different than say, a kyrii, a wocky, and Yurble. We already have plenty of fluffy pets with manes/ruffs.

I think Xweettok sounds like Sweet talk
And for fun I looked up Xweettalk just to see..and someone else had already thought of that name!
I guess someone out there thinks like I do.

I'd like it if it weren't for the eyes. Ugh. Way too anime-ish. And I like Neopets having an overall similar style- this is too different for me...


Not to mention that it was completely random...and it wasn't the April Fool's pet we're supposed to get...and then there's the Lutari. We have a crapload of pets already...and half don't get as much attention as the others...

Seriously, I can't say I like it. Its just too... boring. I think Xquid would've been a much better idea.

Hmm. The eyes and overall appearance seem a bit too Anime-ish for Neopets, whose style is usually more. . .erm. . .I think the right word would be "cartoony." It's nice looking, but doesn't exactly fit in with the rest of the pets on the site.

No. Lutari is going to be a pet only obtained through a Cell-phone promotion I believe. And if it was, Lutari island would have been released too

Hmmm.. they're just alright in my book.
Yeah they're cute but I dunno... I'm still disappointed.
It's like the same old pet with a new look.
Has the same old neck fluffy fur which I'm really getting tired of seeing on pets.

I can't believe this is a surprise to me , usually every new species has already been talked about for months and months before being released.
It is a darling though, I like it a lot.

(Shhh! I have broken my one pet rule and adopted one- how could I not, so new and so cute? )
