Is it just me or have petpages been disfunctional for the past few days? I think they've only been accessible once or twice during the last 3 or 4 days...I find it rather annoying but it might be just me. I've tried using both IE and Firefox, with no luck

Yeah...I know the feeling. I haven't been able to disown a pet for a while...it keeps saying that the action times out.

Yeah I haven't been able to work on my petpage..


but..but..i love working on my page...they can't do this to me!

I had actually made a thread on this board about the petpages but then I realised there was already a thread in Help and deleted my thread. I assumed the one in Help was going to thrive but I guess people just don't read that board as much as this one. This thread does belong there more than here, anyway.

You can go ahead and cuff me for backseat modding.

oh well, sorry about that. it's just usually threads like this are posted more often here than in the help chat, so I didn't think to check there first.

It is annoying and frustrating when this happens, whether it's a page you're working on or a page you go to for whatever reason.

I know there are a few people trying to get to one of my petpages, I have a tutorial there - and I can't help them if they can't get to the page, look at it and see if it has the info they need or if they have questions ...

I guess with all the new plot stuff being put on the site, this will happen. Can't wait to see the madness if there truly is a war - why are petpages and the bd on the same server? Stuff like this happens whenever there's a plot or war.

I'm wondering if the petpage thing was on purpose ... to prevent people from having huge play-by-plays of the plot listed on their pet page.

I guess I'm lucky, as the contents of my main pet's page is a guide that I also got published in the Neopian Times... So I'm linking people to that for the moment.

Good idea, but that wouldn't explain why you can't disown a pet...unless that is somehow tied to the plot...which seems like a lot more work then would be expected...
