 Post subject: CD Drive doesn't respond

This morning it was working. Now wheatever CD I slot inside doesn't load. The lights keep on blinking rapidly, indicating there's something wrong in it... anyway, I need the CD-ROM now to install my audio driver. When I try to play a song in Winamp, there is an error message that says "Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration. Error code: 8878000A". It would be more helpful if you can solve the root of the problem... :)
