The Caretaker is a Blue Yurble who looks after the graveyards in the Haunted Woods. Like The Foreman who appeared in the Lost Desert Plot and the Altador Plot, and the Librarian who appeared in The Faeries' Ruin, he is an angry Yurble the player had to deal with during The Tale of Woe

The Tale of Woe[edit]

The Caretaker helped Bruno, Gilly, and Sophie find all the graves in the Haunted Woods so that they could identify The Spirit of Slumber.
The player encountered him in his shack in the Game Graveyard. He sent the player to recover his graveyard reference books from the game Fetch!, and then showed them to each graveyard. When he discovered they had been digging up the graves, he refused to help any more, and Sophie had to steal his reference books back in order to work out the Spirit's name.
