Talk:Plushie
on plushies
the term plushie is differnet from doll...i don't know what the difference is, but i feel i should at least point that out. :o --Jacob 16:20, 6 Aug 2006 (CDT)
- A 'plushie' is a soft toy, cloth stuffed with straw, beans, cotton, etc... A doll can be made of (I quote from the wikipedia article)
# Bisque # Bisqueloid # Celluloid # Clay # Cloth (see also rag doll) # Composition # Corn husks # Paper # Plastic # Polymer-Clay # Porcelain # Resin # Rubber # Vinyl # Wax # Wood
and is usually depicting humans... In Neopets, of course, it is more common to find them depicting Neopets, as one would expect... I don't feel we need to try and invent a distinction between doll and plushie as a distinction already exists in Neopets: if it's called a doll, it's a doll, if it's called a plushie, it's a plushie... --Macbeth 10:07, 7 Aug 2006 (CDT)

I found this image and thought it might suit the article. Or would it be a better idea to have a collection of 6 or so plushies, like in the Muffin article (as an example)? --User:Dizzy 23:16, 7 Apr 2007 (CDT)
- Image suits the article very well, but would require a description along the lines of "jubjub playing with 3 different plushies". --Jacob 21:02, 8 Apr 2007 (CDT)
- That JubJub is a shopkeeper for user shops! --85.130.145.82 13:18, 11 Apr 2007 (CDT)
