Florg the Mutant Chia is a result of one of Dr. Sloth's evil experiments. He has developed a penchant for eating petpets and will search the Space Station tireslessly until he finds some. Florg's petpet appetite is the subject of the game Feed Florg.

Known as the Mutated Chia in the Battledome, Florg is a former battledome opponent that is no longer available.

The Mutated Chia's difficulty is overstated. He has a considerable amount of HP, but he only has two weapons that can potentially do six icons. A cheap sombination of strong snowballs and one-time use healing elixirs from the Healing Springs would've been enough to defeat him.

After defeating him a few times, the Mutated Chia will become a sort of Punchbag Bob opponent for weaker Neopets, one that bites back only a little bit. This made him a less than ideal opponent for low-level Neopets to fight, and is probably one of the reasons he was retired.

Leaked items

The Mutant Chia Dagger and Mutant Chia Snot, two items leaked to the Neopian public.

The main reason he was retired is probably because weapons were leaked out of him somehow. One-Player Battledome opponents usually have a few items that are "not available to the general Neopian public." Except, in the Mutated Chia's case, some of those items were available to the general Neopian public.

Details of how the weapons were leaked or how many exist aren't available. We can estimate how many are available, only a few, maybe only one. The items could be sold for a fortune, but would probably be display items only, because they're not very good weapons. Each does four, possibly six, icons of damage.

• On April ?, 2007, Florg was featured in Better Than You, scoring 3400 in Snowbeast Snackrifice. Prize was a Ganuthor. Quoted saying...
