Mayor Thumburt was the Bruce Mayor of Neovia, and was the war boss during The Tale of Woe.

During the plot, Bruno was attacked by many villagers, including Mayor Thumburt himself, who had led the riot 10 years ago after they became mutants as a side effect of the potion Mr. Krawley gave them.

Trivia
- An unknown entrance quote to the battledome, "What? You think you can fight me?", is not the "After Loss" quote, and doesn't seem to fit in all the other positions.
- It is likely that the reason he took the potion was to become more powerful, as hinted by his description in the Battledome.
