Benny, sometimes called Benny the Blade, is a Purple Bruce and a member of Captain Scarblade's pirate crew. He is dangerous and untrustworthy, and he is also skilled with a knife. Because of this, pirates and barkeeps alike try to stay on his good side.
During the Curse of Maraqua plot, Benny was a one of the Battledome opponent that was available to Maraquan Warriors. He was the easiest opponent during the fourth wave of challengers that was released on June 1, 2005. Users received 12 plot point every time they defeated him.
Curse of Maraqua

During Captain Scarblade's attack on the Black Pawkeet, Benny snuck up behind Garin and whack him in the head with a club, causing the Usul to fall into the water unconscious. Later, after Garin returned from his first visit to Maraqua, Benny overheard Garin telling Talak about the marvelous underwater city he had seen. Benny relayed this information to Captain Scarblade.
When Garin stole back the Black Pawkeet and the arms that Scarblade had stored upon it, it was Benny who first noticed the ship's absence. When Scarblade decided to go ahead with the invasion of Maraqua despite this, Benny navigated him to the located of new Maraqua.
