'''Pirate''' is one is is one of the many [[colour|colours]] that users can paint their [[Neopet|Neopets]] and [[Petpet|Petpets]].  The Pirate colour is closely associated with [[Krawk Island]].  Pirate pets have bluish-grey skin/fur (and sometimes a tattoo) and are dressed in pirate clothing.

The Pirate colour for Neopets was released May 28, 2002.  Users can change the colour of their Neopets to Pirate by using a ''Pirate [[Paint Brush]]'' [[item]] at the [[The Rainbow Pool|Rainbow Pool]].  Users also have the choice of changing their Neopet's colour to Pirate when they complete a [[Rainbow Fountain|Fountain Faerie Quest]].  Lastly, a Neopet's colour can be changed to Pirate by using an appropriate [[Morphing Potion]].

The Pirate colour for Petpets was released on January 15, 2004 .  Petpets can be painted Pirate by using the ''Pirate [[Paint Brush#Petpet Paint Brush|Petpet Paint Brush]]'' item at the [[The Rainbow Pool#Petpet Puddle|Petpet Puddle]].
