The '''Furwitch''' is a [[retired]] [[Petpet#Spooky Petpet|Spooky]] [[Petpet]] originally released on 21 October 2002. These little critters are often found hanging around [[Edna#The_Witch.27s_Tower|Edna's Tower]] begging for treats.

==Rotten Egg==

Before the Furwitch became the Furwitch, it was known as a Spooky Petpet named '''Rotten Egg'''. It was released on October 23, 2000 as a prize from the [[Brain Tree]]'s [[quest]]. The Rotten Egg was one of the less popular Petpets in [[Neopets (website)|Neopets]]' early years, which is why it was among [[List of Petpet redesigns|the Petpets getting an "update" on October 21, 2002]]. Like the others, it was immediately retired after the change.

It is not impossible to still own a Rotten Egg. Any Petpet who was attached to a [[Neopet (species)|Neopet]] at the time of the change will stay the same until it is removed. This means only a very few people still have a Rotten Egg.
