They are [[Wikipedia:Embodiment|embodiments]] of Greed, Ambition, and Revenge and take the spectral forms of a [[Gelert]], a [[Faerie]], and a [[Skeith]]. It is unknown which forms correspond to which flaw.

The Three were featured as a trading card in the [[Neopets TCG]]s' ''Battle for Meridell'' expansion.

[[Lord Kass]] was corrupted by The Three to succeed where Lord Darigan had failed. They admitted that Darigan's greed had failed them, and hoped Kass' wouldn't. When Lord Darigan returned and won against Kass in battle, The Three took him, leaving nothing of him except a trail of smoke, for he had "promised [them] everything [and] that's exactly what [they] will take in return", and then claimed that Lord Darigan would return to them eventually.
