Apparently your petpet crawls, Jumps or my personal favorite CANNONBALL'S down the hole to come back up with something...or nothing lol

Do you think finding something is random, or there are set times like turmaculus. "Maybe you can do the same tomorrow!" kind of makes me suspect the latter, but who knows.

I kept entering it over and over, and just one time I got that 'maybe you can do that again tomorrow message', with 'hold on, (petpetname) looks different somehow'. But there wasn't any discernable difference.

I wonder if you're supposed to be able to jump in more than once. I did it three times with my faellie, Lyra. I hope that's not a glitch (or at least not a freezable one). I didn't get anything any of the times.

I wonder if you can lose your petpet this way, like if it gets lost or swallowed up by the hole or something.

No, if you don't have a petpet on your active Neopet, it tells you that you are too big to fit in, perhaps a petpet can get in there.
