So, I started on volume three since the store didn't have any other. I think its pretty cool. Any comments?

I've heard a lot about that series. I've stayed away since it looked like another sports series, but from all the hype, I'm considering looking into it.

Can anyone tell me why this series is so popular? What's all the excitement about?

From what I've seen from the Shonen Jump preview, it's pretty cool.

Lol, it even taught me about the different grips. :P

I love Prince of Tennis ^_^ It's great, and it made tennis far more interesting than anybody could think it could be. It can be extremely funny at times. I would recommend it :D

Being an avid tennis player myself, I'm a huge fan of Prince of Tennis. I was lucky and I snagged the 3 volumes that are out right now at Border's. Now I'm eagerly anticipating vol 4 :D

I only read up to volume 2, but so far, it's awesome! I just really despise the little guy who keeps trying to put Ryoma down. *hisses*

And in the beginning he was way too cocky for his own good. Just because he's been to some tennis clinics doesn't make him the master of it XD

Or like when he knew the definition of split step, but had no idea how the split steps works.

Prince of Tennis is a favorite of mine now...and I play tennis a lot as well. It was lots of fun trying out some of the moves, and some I sort of got close to performing, like Fuji's Tsubame Gaishi, Kaido's Snake, and I'm working on a Twist Serve on my own. I actually used the twist serve against someone yesterday in a match, and he was short, so it really did bounce towards his face :)

I only read volume 22 but I have watched up to episode 120 or so, and am getting the next 20 or so episodes tomorrow.

I think there are 3 or 4 volumes out in the U.S. but in Japan there are at least 22 volumes because I saw (and bought) #22 at a bookstore.
