Um, hello thar guys. Remember me?

#1 Post by Igg »

'Cause you'd totally forget me after like A WEEK AND A HALF.

It's just been the longest week and a half of my life, I swear.

I started University a week ago (well Freshers' Week) and I haven't got a computer with me (yet, I just bought it) and the computer room in my Halls is pathetic. Also until Saturday all I was doing here was eating and sleeping and was out the rest of the time, either at Uni or doing Freshers' stuff.

I got Freshers' Flu around Thursday. I still have it. I feel fairly wretched.

I have 12 books with me. This is not enough. I have an enormous reading list and I NEED books that aren't about Art History.

I am clearly far too stupid to be on my course.

I miss being an internet-based recluse.

How are we all?

Be sure to complain bitterly about how they stole our (Eastleigh's) airport.
They'll probably hate you for it, but it's the right thing to do (Dag nabbit)

College was the best four years of my life by far.

You'll get used to the stress. Fear is, in fact, a wonderful motivator.

I am actually wondering why I though higher education was for me, given that 6th form sent me slightly loopy and I litterally did almost nothing for those 2 years. Now I actually have to do stuff. Gah.

It'll be OK, but i'm quite out of sorts. Miss familiar things and people.

I'm on Uni #3. Transfered from the 1st school after 2 years, and the 2nd school after 2 years. Changed majors 3 times now too. Music to history to culinary. My baking and pastry program is only a 2 & 1/2 year program though so I'm done in 2009. But then I might go back later and finish my history degree because I miss it...and I can do culinary anthropology.
