Whats with the HOT Weather?

#1 Post by john_d0e »

pardon me for asking but... in the New Features page (http://www.neopets.com/nf.phtml) there is a link refering to "today's weather forecast"

any idea what this may lead to? 8)

It's a link to the weather forecasts of the different parts of Neopia. Haunted Woods, Terror Mountain, etc.

Yes, ages. certain weather forecasts can get you avatars if certain requirements are fulfilled. the icy snowflake avatar for example. and if it's raining in maraqua, a believe you get The Drenched as a BD opponent

Talk about a major heat wave. 144F* in the Lost Desert? Sheesh!. You'd fry in seconds.

No, it's still global warming (I think). Neopia is, after all, a globe-shaped planet. ;)

Technically it only had one side until a few days ago. Imagine that.

I think the weather page is a bit off, as even Neopia central has 50 degree Celsius weather. Far as I know, 30 degrees Celsius is considered hot weather in most of the world.

30 degrees Celsius? HOT? Are you kidding me? In Houston, in the summer, our temperatures are almost always above 90 F. That's about 38 Celsius. We even go up to 105-110 degrees in the hottest part of the summer.

Yeah .. but 144 degree fahrenheit!!

Even your own brain fries at 108-109.

Surely Neopets aren't immune to this oven temperature.

Maybe Neopian's and Neopets alike are using way to much hairspray .. I blame the Usul's!

Yes...I'm fairly sure 144 degrees would amount to a natural catastrophe and mass death/evacuation. :o Oh well, perhaps neopets are naturally heat-resistent.
