Is it just me or did TNT completely blow of Discovery Of Meridell Day?? Here it is July 31st and nothing was even mentioned on the 30th...

Well, July 30th was Saturday and July 29th was Ruki day.
I don't know, they never seem to update the news on Saturdays or Sundays, and they've been lagging with all the other news releases lately. :roll:

Just looking at the unreleased thread, you'll see TNT has it planned to do Meridell day on Monday.

They got a BG image, CC, shopkeepers, the front page image...

Yeah... Also, my friend told me before Neopets is consider "offline" during the weekends so no work is done at all. Unless it is a special day or special event. If you're not happy you can check the Neocams. All day the picture will be the same. :)

It's a company.
Some companies don't have work during the weekends.

Sadly, most companies in the U.S.A. are 7 days a week. Of course not everyone works that many days but there is usually a few different shifts..
Usually companies that provide a 24 hour service are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
And you would think that with neo being a kids site they would be working on the weekends as most kids are home from school then.

But that is just a "realistic" point of view.

I personally do not care that stuff isn't updated on the weekend .. it gives me time to breathe and allows to me catch up on my poor gallery without other items being introduced. :P

The news isn't usually updated until later in day (in NST time). From staff friends I have, they don't start working until 9, so no one would even be at the office at the time you posted.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. I'm sure it will come later today.
