It's third-party software for the browser that prevents ads from being loaded on your machine without tampering with anything on Neopets, and it doesn't cheat at the game; in addition, the user is not OBLIGATED to view advertisements (yet), and thus, blocking ads is entirely legal. GO. NOW! :D

I've blocked the ads but I have never seriously seen users so upset about anything on NPs before!

Nope, they're still there. I just got the infamous "Who gets pregnant first?" ad when I turned off Adblock to look.

I still see the ads...ok heres a question...even though we dont see the ads...are they still loading?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Neopets gets money just for putting the adds there. Sort of like a billboard, they can't help it if you don't look at the ads, but the sponsor still pays. The only possible exception is if they are being paid per click.
