I've always used IE, because it just comes with my computer. How do you get Firefox?

Just go to googles, and type firefox. Click on the first link you see and it's there :)

I prefer using MYIE2. (Not the new Maxathon; MYIE2.) It combines the Best of IE and Netscape, with a userfriendly atmosphere, skins, and tabs. Plus a build in pop-up blocker. ;)

Not to mention, it can bypass the disable right-click in shops, and you can hold down ctrl and bypass those annoying java alert things. *boop!* :D

EDIT: Plus it's got mouse actions. (right-click and hold, and move the mouse a certain way and release, and it does something. For example, hold right click and move the mouse up, then down, and the page refreshes. Very conveniant. [sp?])

Um, I just started using Firefox, can someone tell me where the block ad function is? Or doesn't it have it?

It's an extension which you have to download.

I downloaded Firefox, then returned to the Firefox site and got the Adblock -- gotta say, I love it. As some others have suggested, I also used it to eliminate the part of the Neotoolbar that wraps around to the top where the banner ad was, so I'm no longer losing that space. And while I was at it, I removed the little ad on the side, so I'm now seeing less advertising than before the banner was introduced.

So far, though, at least, I'm opting to keep the page-header "banners" that tell you where you are (and, importantly, do not move and flash).

Just go here https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/m ... .php?id=10 to get the Adblock extension. It's quick and easy and very much worth it!

I also use adblock on some message boards I go to. I'm so happy to not have to view people's really ugly siggies or too large siggies :D

no problem. You WILL need to block any ads as they come, as 1. I dont have a list of them all and 2. they'll change, but it does help. Also, you can adblock other images you find get in the way - for example, the picture of the shop wiz - it serves no benefit, and if you wiz a lot, it increases the scrolling needed :)

One thing I found, when Googling Firefox, was a tips website where, among other things, this particular user listed various ad-related wildcards that he'd found useful for blocking most ads.

not that i know of, i think msn is just a plug in skin, since i've found it has the same favorites as IE acts the same way, has same functions ect. but i use IE

if you wish to add tabs to IE download a plugin thing called slimbrowser. google it and you'll see, it adds tabs! :D

Anyone here using CrazyBrowser? It's great for multitabbing, but whenever I open a Flash Game, it just opens in a new tab instead of a popup. This make the game screen HUGE! Any way to change this?

Is FireFox really that good...?
