I'm still little! I don't have to grow up and get a job!

*scrolls down and see's Hil wanted to be a Flamingo*

Best thing I've read yet today.

I wanted to be a vet for a while, then a marine biologist (I think that was after I decided that a vet would be bad because I'd have to see a lot of sick animals - don't remember exactly though). There was a while that I wanted to be a lawyer (I thought it sounded good 'cause I could argue and lie XD) and somewhere in there that I wanted to be an archaeologist...

I think that's about it.

(Of course now I have no idea what I want to be =P)

A squirrel. When I was really little a squirrel would come up on my porch and I'd talk to it through the glass door. We'd have meetings about twice a week, and more often in acorn season.

Sad, but true.

I have never known what I wanted to be. There's too much to do out there. I will decide only when I absolutely have to.

A really famous artist; like Picasso. I wanted my stuff in museums and shtuff.

I still wanna be an artist, though I'm not quite aiming for museum. More like awesome comic book artist or something. I just gotta learn how to draw comics and poses first ;P

That is the catch ;)

Getting one picture worthy of recognition is easy. Getting an entire book full of them is extremely difficult, especially since you have to make all of the pictures have equal proportions, characteristics and whatnot.

When I was really little, a ballerina.
Then, a gynmast.
Then...a Solid Gold Dancer. *wonders how many people here are too young to even know what Solid Gold is*
Then a paleontologist, and an Egyptologist.
Then an author.

A university professor! Of course, the slight flaw to that being I had never been to college or university. A teacher before then, now, though, my aspirations are leading me nowhere. Except possibly an accountant? Hahaha. Fun fun fun!

Common misconception is that artists dont' make money. A lot of artists are self supported and quite happy. It takes large amounts of hard work, and the ability to sell ones art, and it can be done. You shouldn't give into stereotypes, they're unhealthy.
