So if it follows the pattern he should be in the bd on the 26th? Is there a "time" or is it random?

Yes, if the "every three days" pattern repeats, he will appear again on the 26th.
We do not know if there is a specific time, but that's what we are hoping to find out with this thread. If you see him, please post the date and time so we can look for another pattern.

I checked on Nov 26th all day about every 15 minutes from around 5am til midnight and never saw him. I have been keeping a window up on the 1-player Challenge Battledome Opponents in the neopian.battledome arena and refreshing again today ( but only for a few hours so far i.e., 2pm-6pm ). Still no luck. Does the battle dome arena I start in make a difference?

Yes, either he isn't appearing every time he should or we are all missing him.
Regardless, his appearances have all been within a multiple of 3 calendar days from the last. So, if that holds true again, we should watch for him on the 2nd.
I do not think the arena matters. I just clicked on the battledome icon from my items menu when I fought him for the avie.
