Of course they have more than one meaning. That's why I brought it up.

Edit:
IMHO, I think the symbols themselves are irrelevant, just several cool-looking hieroglyphs that TNT picked to use for their plot. I'm guessing the "translation" will have little to do with ancient Egyptian meanings

All to true. I doubt TNT would torture us by forcing us to learn Ancient Egyptian... although I do have all this free time between clues...

PS: Don't worry about too much time. I've been pondering this stuff for the past few days.

Oh, I know it is, but Jazan says something about "when the prophecy is fulfilled" or words to that effect. And you speak the prophecy to Nuria's statue, so... It could be like Darigan, that the prince was once a good guy, but became corrupted. Or he's attempting to use the prophecy for his own selfish ends. I did finally go back and get the quote from the statue: "Whosoever shall speak the prophecy here, shall be rewarded with treasures beyond compare" so I can see how someone obsessed with greed could want the prophecy for themselves.

Edit, so as not to double post :P

Hey, guys!! Just got back from school. Finally, I found my fifth piece and fixed it. Now, I'm onto my sixth piece. ;)

I got the list and meanings from marauqa.net. I get no sign of virus from them (unlike some others) so I check them out on a regular basis. I take the virus thing with a grain of salt. Especially recalling when people where spreading the story that PPT gives them a virus.

I hope the next ones are not Geraptiku Tomb or other dailies, because I just did them :(

Most of the others haven't. The odds are against it in my book. TNT probably wants to confuse us like with the deck ball stuff, not torture us like the last puzzle.

Mon Sep 12, 2005 7:53 am

Yeah, I tried to avoid the dailies on the few worlds we haven't hit yet, but I didn't think about Geraptiku :o Watch, that'll be it now :P

Oh, and I love your avvie, stampsyne :D

"No it isn't! "
" Yes it is! It isn't just contradiction."
"Look, if I *argue* with you, I must take up a contrary position! "
" Yes but it isn't just saying "no it isn't". "
"Yes it is! "
"No it isn't! "
(sorry, couldn't help myself, been wanting to do that since I saw Jez's avatar)

Hmmn, I like the theories I am hearing so far. I don't want this plot to be over so soon. . In fact I stare in disbelief at the idea that it would be over so soon. Only three pages of the comic? . . I think we'll be in for at least 5 more before the 'puzzle' side of things is over.

Well I may not be playing pyramids, but I am certainly keeping busy with games. I think I made 50k from yesterday games, including the WC's I won.

Somebody on the neoboards is claiming that Deadly Dice gave them a 10th piece of parchment. Interesting that they waited until after the DD was closed to post.. I don't believe them.

Dang scammers. That is why I don't like those boards too much

Edit: clarification

Mon Sep 12, 2005 8:20 am

I would bet quite a lot of NP that the deadly dice thing is a lie, considering we don't even have a new clue yet.

I've been keeping busy playing bilge dice (and cursing the stupid game for putting me on one of the periodic huge losing streaks).

Mon Sep 12, 2005 8:20 am

Yeah, well someone on the neoboards was claiming to have the first new piece to her tablet long before the fortune teller gave out the first clue :P

I tend to take the neoboards with a healthy mound of salt, lol
