Oh yeah, my mom's laptop (which I sometimes use) has Norton Antivirus, Spybot, and Ad-aware.

Both computer have the XP firewall, and the router firewall.

I'm my own firewall. As for cleaning products, I use Ad-Aware, Spybot, and McAfee 4 DOS. Light and effective computer cleansing utilities.

A couple rocket launchers.

No, seriously though, it's got McAfee Internet Security (Firewall, Antivirus, and Anti-Spam, I think), Trend Micro Internet Security (Comes with the same stuff), and Ad-Aware 6.0.

I'll just say some stuff still gets through. >_<

Ad-aware, Norton Antivirus. Used to have all of Norton Systemworks but it made the computer run slowly so I deleted it. Never get anything on virus scans, but you wouldn't believe how many tracking cookies Ad-Aware will turn up.

and if you have a proper firewall, then you cant use sqaut.
im doubting for some reason.
and my computer has the ULTIMATE protection, no net connection, AND nothing of worth.
this one however suffices with a spy/adware detector, a popup blocker and an infested hard drive due to lack of decent hidden trojan detector and virie.

My new laptop isn't protected.
The two other laptops and main computer both have ZoneAlarm as their main firewall.
The other two computers have several things to 'protect' themselves but they have been overrun by virusses and are now officially 'dead'.

Spybot S&D as well as an old, outdated version of McAfee VirusScan with old, outdated virus definitions.

Edit: Oh, and the Google toolbar for pop-up blocking.

Another happy Linux user. No spyware, no virus software, no pop up stoppers equals no worries.

Is Linux like MS-Dos? You know.. run commands and stuff. Maybe Linus could make a GUI

One very angry programmer? :)

No, seriously. No software firewall, some antivirus running quetly in the background (is it still running? I haven't heard anything from it in the last year), and the google toolbar (search, popups (my hosts file takes care of most of those anyway)).

Now, now, did you do your searching? http://www.kde.org/ http://gnome.org/
(in fact, almost all common linux distribution come with a GUI)
