Question: Did Nero's problems coincide with the installation of another burning program or a program suite capable of burning (i.e. Winamp5)? Nero sometimes can get screwed up by the installation of other software.

I use iTunes for everything, but before using that I chose Winamp.

Just so people with WMP know...if you ever get an iPod and you've used WMP to rip all your CDs to your computer, start crying now. (Didn't happen to me, but my best friend...wow.)

You can import unprotected WMA files into iTunes (it'll transcode them to AAC).

Oh, I know, it's just that it takes a long time, especially with large amounts of WMA files.

I use Musicmatch jukebox to listen to music and rip CDs, and to burn i either use the same or nero depending on my mood. (and any video files i use BS player).

To play music - foobar200.
To play video - Light Alloy.
To burn/rip - my dad.

I choose them because they work fast on my not-so-new computer.

I use iTunes to rip music from CDs, but it slows down my computer horribly, especially when opening iTunes after inserting a CD. -_-
