Okay, so maybe it didn't rhyme, but you're here and here is where I tell you my problem that I need help with:

You know on carrot day, how on the New Features page it was raining carrots? And that random event where Mortogs begin to float down the screen? Is it possible to enter a code in your Lookup that will enable you to make it "rain" a certain image? It's probably not, but if you do happen to know, please post.

Not on the lookups - at least, not anymore, since they disallowed off-site images.

Basically all you'd do is create an animated GIF of carrots falling, make it the size of the whole screen (so, 640x480, that's a good size, and it can be made to repeat), and then just use CSS to create a floating image at position 0,0.

Go to http://www.w3schools.com for in-depth CSS tutorials.

When did they disallow off-site images? o_O I just checked my Lookup a few minutes ago and the side bar and banner were still there... well, thanks for the info. I didn't know it was a giant image, I gererally thought it was some kind of coding. The reason I thought this way is that I have been to my Quick Ref page before, and it eould start "raining" with pictures of my pets. I've also heard of other people that this has happened to. Ah well, I'll go to w3schools. again...

[Edit] - Forgot to add that I also thought it was coding due to the fact that the images appear in randomly random places at the top of the screen. And thanks for your input, again.

[Edit AGAIN] - Typos. Am I using the word again too much? Again?

The moving images you're thinking of are dynamic HTML coding, which is something different from CSS. I just suggested the CSS since it seemed easier.

Off-site image linking is a bit of a complicated issue. If you had images hosted off-site before the ban (I think it's about 8 months old now), you're fine, and you can still use them. But what you can't do is add new ones or change the ones you have.

Does that make sense?

Shapu, you can use image hosting sites for images - lookup, pet description, shop, petpages. There are and have been certain sites that were banned (I remember when g-petz was), but I use an image host (2 actually) all the time with no problems. What you can't do is have outside sites posted (the url) or a clickable link that would take to to an outside site. For everyone's protection - too many scam/cookie grabber/fake log in pages ruined it for the rest of us who were and are honest (think guild webs, personal "free" websites with graphics).

The moving images - I thought those were just great animated gifs (love the roll-overs!)....you could always view source and see what's there re: coding, etc.
