13th January - Sloth Appreciation Day! (early)
* Sloth Appreciation Day isn't actually until tomorrow, but we thought we'd start the festivities early! An extra day to celebrate the most notorious evil villain in Neopia is always welcomed. Help us! He's here! Call the Space Faerie!
* What better way to start off the celebrations than with four new Sloth cakes? Head over to The Bakery to pick some up.
* Sippy619's home at 3012 Tiki Tack Street, Mystery Island has earned her the Neohome Spotlight award! Well done.
* A new issue of the Neopian Times has been released. Keep your eyes open for great stories and adventures like The Ups and Downs of Kindness and Chia Bomber II: a Real Blast!.
* This week's Pet Spotlight goes to MonsterRock. Congratulations to zblacktt for raising a fine Baby Skeith.
* Every minion should have a Robo Sloth in their Neohome. Head over to the Furniture shop if you'd like to have one for your very own.

Let's say you take over a friend's account who has quit neopets. There is a shop on that account and no way to get rid of it. I don't think it to be fair to ice that account if the shop is not used. Will TNT ever give the option to delete the shop? ~ --name removed--
The account would be frozen because you are NOT allowed to access an account you did not create. Even if your best friend in the whole wide world didn't want their account anymore, their only option is to either abandon it or self freeze it. You may NOT give/trade/sell your account to anyone else. If you do, that account will be frozen.
As for the shops thing, we understand people had shops on accounts before the rule went into effect. As long as the shop is empty and you're not using it to sell items, you're fine.

Recently I noted that half of a jelly weighs exactly the same amount as a whole jelly. Is this a unique, physics-defying trait of Neopian jellies, or something else entirely? ~elusive_random

I was hoping that since Sloth Appreciation Day was early, the mind control lab would be working, so I could get the Sloth avatar I didn't get last year... but sadly, nothing's there. I'm going to check tomorrow to see if it's working (I hope!) since the official day is the 14th...

Hmmm... I hope the Mind Control Quiz is activated for those that still need this avie.
You get it by answering C, D, B, C, A on the quiz. Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't appear to be working at present. Maybe it will be up on the 14th (I hope).
It IS supposed to be seasonal on Sloth Appreciation Day, isn't it?
