whatever happened to the red codestones?

i've been out of the neopets scene for about eight months now... starting to come back though

just wondering - did TNT ever make a training place where you can actually use those red codestones?

Yes, they did. Only people above a certain level can access it. I believe it's level 200 something. Anyway, you're supposed to be able to throw the 10 regular codestones into the volcano on mystery island and create the red ones which are in turn used as payment for the secret ninja training school also located on mystery island. Yeh, the secret ninja thingy was announced in the news a while back, for pets over level 250, using red codestones. there is also a shop in there

The only problem is that a couple of the codestones are really, really rare and you can get stuck in the training school. I've been stuck there ever since the first day because I need a zed codestone

how many codestones can you deposite at the volcano each day? And it is worth the price to do so?

The hype of red codestones really died done after the announcement. I also forgot about them!

the way things were going i thought they would end up being a random event like the other codestones but looks like i was wrong

But wasn't that how people originally got ahold of the red codestones? I'm certain of it actually... But Whether you can still get them from REs, I don't know. I don't get anything anyways

I never heard of anyone getting a red codestone as an RE. I can tell you that the price of regular codestones has really gone up. I think people are buying them and changing them to red and using them. They just don't talk about it much, since only 250 and up pets can even see the new school or weapons shop.

You lose money making most of the red codestones. I don't think the volcano mades the Zed and Sho codestones otherwise they wouldn't cost so much.

These red codestones are a bit of a jip right now. If you could choose what you wanted it change into, I reckon it'd be a lot better. As long as it's randomly chosen, there'll always be complaints.

the first few that appeared were random events - that was way back in the days of the mystery island plot though.
