There would be about 5 people left on Neopets if they did.

I have spent more on shops today then i have in a good long while I didnt make millions but prolly 100k .. which rocks

i know it wont last long but well it is nice while it lasts..

thou right now it is lagging so bad i cant' get into a shop and i have a fast connection :/

Grr, Neopets is starting to get laggy for me. Maybe it's time for me to go to bed... yeah 2:30 in the morning...

well it seems after this last lag burst for me that all shops are empty.. My husband also got the same thing.. so maybe it is fixed.. maybe i am saying it too early .. i don't know

but it is 2:30am here and i am quite tired

It has stopped. Everyone is banned now.

I really hate the pictures, it either cannot load for me or I cannot spot the stupid pet. The pets are so tiny in the pictures and I got to move my eyes so near to see them. I will be changing my glasses again if these continue.

TNT please do something about the pictures. I am sure you have better ideas than these.

If the shops are back to normal, and they are still using these pictures, I think I can quit restocking.

Oh so that's why I'm banned. I was so confused. lol I hadn't be refresh at all.

Oh, I thought I had somehow managed to get myself banned from not only the main shops but the Garage sale as well.

Now I don't feel quite so stupid. :-/

Probably should go shop wiz search to take advantage of the prices.

It's not that everyone is banned for over restocking. It's just that they pulled the plug on the shops. I just logged in. I missed it
I guess it's time to buy at low price

That stinks claude, I got in on the tail end of it. Probably got an hour or two of restocking in.

hmmm..i just returned from an early outing after posting this thread and is still not really up to date with the change yet. from what i read, it seems we are not using restock code anymore?

the early morning hassle has clearly discouraged me a bit. the traffic is so busy my internet connection is lagging and the constant freezing of my IE doesn't help either.

of course, any change now is still in its infancy and nothing's permanent yet BUT if this were to continue, my initial worries wouldn't be unfounded.

profitable item of lower rarity up to r90 would see a drastic drop in price and we must admit that they are the staple income for many restockers. moreover, higher rarity of 98 and 99 don't seem to be restocking with more frequency and it's likely that sniping unbuyables may be the only clear profitable activity left. already, we can see the impact of more players going into restocking and with restocks taking place every minute, reselling, auction sniping, shop wiz shopping, shop malling and other forms of np earning skills could lose some appeal. after all, now we have every minute to look forward to a restock, it would be viewed as a sacrifice to lose every minute to doing other neopian activities when you could be grabbing a good item directly from the source the next minute! i certainly feel this way...already i am finding it hard to pull out of restocking to do freebies, handle trades or even view message boards...

however, despite all the seeming rants, been a long time restocker, i know this is only a matter of adapting and i trust TNT would find a suitable solution, especially against autobuyers.

Actually, the Garage Sale still works. Not sure if it restocks every minute or every around every 8 minutes. But, uh, yeah,

Edit: Yeah, Garage Sale is still restocking every minute. I don't think you can get banned from Garage Sale, so refreshing shouldn't be a worry.
