ok good so i'm not going insane...
why are there cats though thats what wanna know?

this is a stretch but maybe...the cats are like a symbol to go to the lost desert, because you know how the egyptains used to worship cats..and since there is a cat on a throne..*shrugs*..just an idea.

this is possible but i think it's probably more cryptic than that... sad part about the cats is i've seen the one on the aquaduct for like ever and a day but i never said anything about it purely cause i thought it meant nothing but with the way this plot is advancing, or lack of, it very well could be something to do with the plot...

I think its more of an easter egg than anything. It's not a link so its not currently anything to do with the plot. I think its more of a feetless Amira thing than anything...

I knew something looked "different" about this Observatory.

I think it is an old-fashioned Planetarium, not just a "study" in that sense.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetarium

Check out this tool, it looks a lot like the one in front of the "telescope":

acctualy I think thats more of an orrery than what you put up the antikythera mechanism is believed to be similar to a computer in how it works... it could predict where stars would be on certian days.
But yeah an orrery is a model of the solar system with moving parts....

:) Yes, thank you I am "Wiki-ing" through Astronomy here (preparing myself to join the Club, you know). ;) I am not a history buff, either, so thank you for correcting me. It doesn't look exactly the same, but I think the artist was trying to make a similar tool of that time in that style.

EDIT: But I was noticing those tiny points of light, too, is what made me think more Planetarium. I wonder if the gems above the statues are somehow reflecting that? o_O

Not at all, I was trying to add something useful, just like you. :)

Having said that, seems like it is a slow plot or some clue we missed so I am heading to sleep. Good nite forum and thank you Mods!

I know the Parrot on Mystery Island is from an old plot, that I didn't participate in (so don't flame me please!) but when I refreshed it said "Pieces of Eight" and "Pretty Aisha" amongst a few other useless things. So if this is not news, no need to worry, I won't say any more. ;)

I've been lurking in the Neoboards, laughing at some people, but it seems they've been talking about that Altador is sinking.

I don't think i've seen this posted yet, and it seems interesting if currently unimportant, but who knows, we're getting very nitpicky now, and it is an interesting theory

http://www.neopets.com/~evilpet12#sinking

There is the link to a guide that has included this along with pictures.

I don't really know what to think about this one.

EDIT: I know that we've beaten the whole 12 statues thing and that Siyana is lighter than the others, but also on that page is someone putting the months along with the characters, and she is in the "March"position, who knows, but if it the case I certainly hope this doesn't go on for a full year :P

Go then... there are other worlds than these...

Ka is a wheel...

The man in black fled across the desert... and the Gunslinger followed
