Shh... they might be watching (looks around shiftily). Though I shouldn't talk since I basically said it too...

Lol, actually I believe Adam and others have been on PPT before, at least I know Mr. Insane was on here before with the LDP...
Cool!

yeah, I know they do it on their neoboards... a user was complaining about a mystery island plot (irony/ coincidence? It was the potion thing you had to make) and one of the staff posted a comment explaining it was fair... and that's when posting people lost their little minds! :roflol:

And... the desription for the observatory says that it is atop the Hall of Heroes - I assumed this meant this was directly above. But... then again if you look at it from the main map, there is no opening whatsoever in the central keep-like building that links you to the hall. If you look out the windows behind King Altador, you can see the parts of the city along the shore. (this must mean he is at an angle where his back is facing the cities... interesting) Since you are looking at him straight on for the most part (and how his pedestal is angled indicates that we're looking down on him), and since you're able to see the buildings, which must be pretty far away. This means you can also see over the walls which must be of a reasonable height. Since the aqueduct/troughs carrying the water from the walls to the keep reach about half-way on both the wall and the keep, then that means the hall must be in the circular structures of the building.

Hundreds of stairs is a lot too. I'd say 8 stories around.

Yeah, I have nothing to do at the moment. And I doubt the artwork was commissioned to portray things as they would be seen in realistically.

I assumed since light was shining down onto the statues, that there were no floors between the statues and the ceiling that opened. I figured the observatory was in one of the little turrets(right word??) I'm guessing the one in the back on the left side.
I know the ceiling in the observatory is round and on the map, the little turrets are squared. But I don't think that little gap we see in the observatory is enough for all the light that is shining down.
Although now that I've stared at it for a while. Why do we see a night sky in the observatory but at the same time, light seems to be shining in as well? o_O Guess the light is coming from somewhere else

Why don't we just ask snarkie or dirtside whats going on?

Ok, one thought. If you look carefully at the 'diagram' on the wall behind the heroes you'll see it looks very similar to the map that's on the table in the archives room, it even has a black dot in the same place that the map has an X. And yes it does look a bit like mystery island. Whether or not this means anything though I've got no idea!

I noticed that too. Maybe one of the book items that have to do with maps?

Mops, Brooms, and Plot Boredom.

Yea it does.

I really think that's a good sign! I mean, if the foreman...erm, I mean Janitor, is mopping (his quote: "and I'll have to go back to mopping instead of guarding this button!")...Maybe we have to wait for him to be done before we can move on!
Maybe something will be reflected from the celing, where the mysterious shadow is, once the floor's nice and shiney...or maybe some other clue will appear....but I am beginning to think it relies on his mopping. Last time, each new development was hinted at by the fortune teller, or other clues. Maybe this is the hint for what we're waiting for???

There is a mop item, maybe that might do something?
