Lost Desert Plot Discussion #25 (split)

I am SO stuck. When I played Fetch, my parchment said that the 11th would be in a yellow circle ankh door. I have completely mapped my 284 room temple checking every single passageway and rechecked three times. I have found every single existing door and there is NO yellow circle ankh door.

I am SO frustrated. I have spent days and days of free time mapping and checking and the door does not exist. I don't know what to do!

Well this happened to me. I just decided to click different black hallways and I found it. I looked on my map and there it was, just didn't look hard enough and me maps hand drawn, hard to read

I have 308 "doors", 124 "hallways", and 3 librarys. Have you found that many?

Thanks firstly to Buttwig for explaining in wonderful detail how to map the temple.

I collected my 2nd piece of the tablet, went to move onto the next part and....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Poogle racing is unavailable..


Does anyone know whether I am completely stuck, or do I have to do something specific so the poogle racing will come up...

Regarding the "blank" doors. Likely they're only fillers to keep things random. Ive heard some folks dont have any when they finished mapping out their maps. I've also seen my buddy's map (and he showed me the location) and yeah, all it is a wall.

But again, i doubt that's what it is.

Okay, I just found my third library door (it looks like a brick pathway), but when I click on an arrow, I just loop between two pages, no matter which direction I go.

Has anyone else gotten this bug?

Yeah, I've had it happen, also. I don't think it's a bug, I think it's just tnt trying to be tricky. No biggie, just click on a door to get out of the endless hallway thingy.

Look over your map again and confirm that you have 12 yellow oval doors. If you have less than twelve yellow oval doors, then you must have made and error while mapping.

It doesn't mean anything. That was part of the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot that is long over.

I vaguely remember Donna saying something in the Editorial about the Hannah plot being in connection to the Lost Desert plot. He wanted something that was there, and he also wanted something stored there. Its also ironic that all his thieves looked exactly like the thieves that were hanging around at the pub in the Maraqua plot. But I degress.....

This plot is exciting. Probably the most exciting one for me since I joined Neopets in February 2002.

Each Temple has 288 gem doors. If you have more than that, you have mapped a couple of doors twice. I did that myself, and only found my mistake when the same corridor lead to 2 different places.

Next question, does the statue room have a special door?

The statue will always be in the same room, however the riddle at the tomb's entrance only describes the room's shape and color. Leaving 12 possible entryways into the statue room. Have fun finding it.

There's Poogle races, the next one is in 5 minutes. Every 15 minutes (NST) there is a new race. The races begin on 0, 15, 30 and 45 minutes past every hour.
