The ray produces a giant flash of light, but Dirigibles doesn't look any different. When it can't even climb the Multi-level Scratching Post you bought it, you realize that malfunctioning lab ray actually decreased its level to: 1
Confirmed, the petpet lab ray hates me.

I think that we should be able to trade zapped petpets in to some person or other for their current lowest sw/tp price...although it might take some programming to make that work...they could also have set prices for rarities, or even use those "est. value"s...that way it wouldn't lower the price of them, but we could still make some use out of this thing
