As for mapping:

Each person's layout of the tomb is different; therefore, each person has to map out their own tomb.

TNT made the temple HUGE, therefore it takes a long time. I recall Jas said something about four hundred something doors. There are five doors in each set, and I believe 1 to many sets are in each room. There are quite a few rooms in the tomb.

So you need to map out your own tomb, since each is different; depending on others won't work.

Thank you very much Jas :) I'm still kicking myself for my slip because I could have been DONE by now, but I'll get it done...eventually... :( (mapping)

If you want to be involved in this plot, I strongly suggest mapping your tomb. It's a strong suspicion that it'll come in handy. If you work slow like me, 4 hours will do, but if you're efficient, you'll get it done in no time :) Just don't always stop and start again, it kills your train of thought and momentum, since it does take some concentration

So I'm looking for a red pentagon. I found two, and twice they have led me to traps. These two had the same symbol over them: set.

Since 'set' means evil, is this my problem? Or am I doing something else wrong? The answer will probably be obvious, and I'd probably feel stupid. :P

Anyhow, can someone help me confirm/explain this?

I may be missing something here.. but I thought you can't find 2 identical doors with the same symbol over them?

I've now mapped 64 rooms, and I appear to be stuck. Every one of my doorways is labeled with the number of the room it leads to... now I have a strong suspicion that I have to use the left and right arrows someplace (up to now, I've been largely avoiding them because they complicate matters). How do those work, exactly? Not every room even has arrows; I've been in quite a few without any at all.

I think you would have to use the left and right arrows.. the way I did my map was to map all the available sets that I can see with the left and right arrows before testing on the "hallways".. and repeating as I see a new environment.

I tend to think of the left and right arrows literally moving left and right along a long corridor of hallways/doors, with the hallways being tunnels leading anywhere else..

Hope that isn't confusing o.o;

Oh wait, you're right. Crud. I mapped this particular room wrong then. *grabs whiteout*

Anyhow. Question remains. Is 'set' the cause of this?

Not confusing at all, thanks. :)

I used the left and right arrows to map the first "set" (which was seven rooms, for me), and then I followed the open doorways in each room. That kept me busy for 65 rooms, and I didn't have to use the arrows. I was hoping I could get away without using them at all, but alas, that doesn't seem possible. At least the paths to two of my libraries (haven't discovered the third yet) are very simple (3 steps for one, 5 for the other). Now I need to find the third and my proper statue room and I should be all set.

Yep, that answers my question too. Wonderful. *sighs*

EDIT: Found my faerie anyways. I'll still need to use the arrows (heh) to find the libraries.

EDITEDIT: Tried saying the name of the symbol on the faerie (Ben), didn't work. Maybe next I'll try the symbol over the door, then some combination of the two?

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you went into the same door twice. :) Each color/shape/symbol combination only occurs once in each tomb. You need to try different red pentagon doors until you find one with the correct symbol over it and it lets you into the statue room. :)

I don't post here often, but I'm enjoying this plot. Anyway, has anyone else found any incorrectness in the above quoted statement? I have two doors in the same "row" and "room" that only seem to go one-way. Both link me to the same "row" but different "rooms." And no passages in these rooms will link me back to the original room. Is that too confusing [I can't find any better way to word it]? Anyone else have any passages like this. I haven't finished mapping my tomb yet, but I'm pretty sure what I have finished has no errors.

And for anyone keeping record, my riddle is "Mouth of the river/Kingdom of the lightgiver." I've found my statue; she was in a blue rectangle with the BEN symbol over it. The statue has the "TEP" symbol, I believe. My tablet has 3 "TEP" symbols and one "BEN". I've found all three of my libraries. I've read two tablets. One had the "SAF" symbol on it. And the other, I'm not completely sure about (it was before I started mapping and writing all of this information down), but I think it was the "NEM" symbol.

Does every tomb contain just one faerie statue or do I need to continue to look for statues with the other symbols on them? Oh, and since I've found my faerie and my libraries is there really any need for me to finish mapping the rest?

Is it just me or are some empty doors (ie: no colors or shapes) leading to dead ends?
and where do you find the names of the symbols?

How do you know what the "words" are for the symbols? I mean BEN, TEP, NEM, etc.

I mapped out my temple. I was wondering, do you think that if you have the same poem, you have the same temple? Mine is "mouth of the river, the waking dawn on the dunes", and I have 38 different "levels" to my map. The entrance room being a hallway, a gray circle, a hallway, a gray square, and a hallway. I can upload my map tomorrow morning.

I think out of the 12 red pentagons there is only one that leads to the statue. The others are all traps.. I don't think it's the evil symbol that's making it all traps..

From what I've noticed from my map.. they do link up. For example a hallway in set A leads to set B.. and there will surely be a hallway in set B that will lead back to set A. "Hallways" meaning doorless thingies, "sets" meaning a group of 5 doors/hallways/stuff.

In no particular order, these are all the sybols I've found so far. I've probably missed one or two.
