br00ster, you know I've never, ever been able to get the games on that page to load? All I've gotten is a blank white screen no matter what.

That you got that message really is saying there's big time server stuff going on

It lets me play most the other games, just not Meerca chase O_o

Not really. The Meerca Chase game on the down page has been like that for a while. Never fear! =)

My guess is that, in their excitement that they weren't offline for their birthday (remember last year?), they put too much new stuff on too quickly--without getting rid of all of the bugs first and without having the computer space to hold all of that new stuff.

My only hope is that the new stuff didn't wipe out the old stuff--like my plushie gallery and the stuff I just sent to my hubby's lupe/chia gallery. Though I did like a random-event-a-minute marathon that I had experienced the past few days (except for the mean old King Skarl and his hideous marrow tax, that is). It really livened up the game.

speakin of stock...how long has the stock been neither up nor down? it says that the neodeq index is at 691 (0) I haven't seen it like that in for ever...

Morningstar, if this IS indeed a server problem (disk array crash, etc.) I really really hope they have great redundancy set up. Losing everything is my biggest fear, I'd never be able to get my gallery back, the np I've made, my lab map and our pets! I admit to being very attached to my pets and their petpets even.

The stock market being at 0? That's something I've found to happen any time the site's down. It's something I always check real quick before I go to log in. If the Neodaq has that 0, I don't bother.

Well, after the TP fiasco of last year in which, basically, the server holding the TP was fried to a crisp, Neo promised that they would fix it so nothing like that could ever, ever happen again--which, I think means having some sort of a backup system on a different server. So, if the one server dies a horrible death, at least there is some sort of backup on another system somewhere.

And, for any of you thinking that this is somehow related to the plot, I can only say "No way." Neo would never give up all of the advertising dollars it is losing right now for some silly plot.

The good thing is, for one day, we all played and won the same NP than Featheralley, the great re-stockers and the people on top of the game tables... 0 NP to everybody
