If TNT was going for the octopus look, yours is definitely much better in my opinion. Great job!
TNT's just looks like a box with tentacles and the head of a gelert.

Oooh, good spotting! I didn't notice that either, I thought they were just capes too. I would love to see some more pets done in a Roman style. I'm sick of the whole Your Heighness, King Queen, Olde Meridell style.

Hmm... the Maraquan Acara is a very pudgy octopus and it doesn't have eight legs and the obvious difference is that it's green not purple but I guess you could say their similar...

i like it a lot! it doesnt frighten me like the real one

It's more triangular, like the Acara. The ears look more similar like this also.

Most of these Aqua Pet do not looks good. Maybe it just me, but only a few seem to pull the look off, lol.

Actually, while the gelert's body does look a little too boxlike, the tentacles look exactly like those of a real octopus...they really are that stringy in real life. They're never held in a particular shape/thickness, they're like strings of slime, except they're extremely strong.

no way! i love maraquan pets. i used my FF pass to paint my aisha maraquan. the gelert looks great as an octopus. it's the weird mouth that's ruining the pet.

yep i posted it in the news section lol and one think the lupe looks like a raggy old cat...or is that just me 
Also all the games now are more or less based on british side show alley games (dont know if you americans have the same:) ) basically its really hard to win and halfd the time you think you have won its not a great prize
