There probably won't be any explanation whatsoever as to why the site has been going down tonight. *gasp* what a shock!!

Seriously, this is not a way to gain new sponsors TNT.... :battar:

Seriously - Get over it.

I mean, before you guys were all: "I can't believe they left the site up when the trading post glitch was happening. I lost everything!!!111!!! That is so irresponsible"

And now, "My weekend is ruined because they took down the site and I have nothing to do! Neopets is just loosing members because of this"

You people amaze me so much. Here's an idea: Go outside. It's summer. Enjoy the sun. Or the rain. Whatever the climate is where you are.

uhh... no offense, but you are here posting that, so I would be the one to talk... and most people here do go outside a lot... they are just upset that it is down so much... its just ranting, no need to rant about ranting.

Hmm... well we'd expect one maintenance period to fix those glitches, but five?? Come on, this is just ridiculous.

Also, would you go outside when it's pouring down rain??

My poor ixi, stuck in training...again. I hope they have free training again tomorrow to make up for all the down time we haven't been able to access the site today. And I really hope no one loses anything because of this constant going down for maintenance. Fingers crossed for you all!

My ixi isstuck in training as well. Here's hoping they will make it up to us ( I doubt it - but a girl can dream!)

Yes, let me just go outside at 1:48 a.m. and bask in the summer... I'm talking to the people saying "my weekend is ruined whatever shall I do?".

And okay, you don't like the site down. So I guess you'd prefer them to keep it up so that you could go merrily along with your day and loose all your NP to a glitch they are trying to fix, then you can complain then anyway.

No need to rant about ranting makes no sense. Technically it's just a rant, so if you don't want me to rant, then you shouldn't rant either.

I wish you had a website. I'd totally go if you can keep it completley glitch free and be able to fix any glitch in a second. Once again, I point to my above statement about it being better the site is down.

And I do go out in the rain thank you very much.

Well, this isn't going to get anywhere, but let me finish:

Then you said:

Most people are in that situation... so they are bored.

And I havent seen a post where someone said that their weekend was ruined...

And what gaminglegend was saying is that it would be better to have one longer downtime then multiple short downtimes, I think. And that is possible...

You also can't really relate to TNT just because you run a site. That is much more of a site than you will most likely ever run, no offense.

Wow buddy - chill out! They were merely voicing their discontent! No need to get so worked up over it !! Sheesh

Yes, I was about to bring that up...:P
But yeah, people that play Neopets do have lives.
And no, ranting about Neopets being down is not being 'obsessed with the site' (as you seem to nonchalantly put it). It's just the normal aggrivation anyone feels when they're playing a game and something like that happens.

Anyways, I'm gonna make a guess at how much longer it will be before the site is back up...

Uh... hmm... I say 1 - 2 hours.

Sun Jul 11, 2004 5:56 am

OK, so we all know Sunday, or in the wee hours of the morning (Yes It's three here >_>) its Ixi day. Neopets celebrated Ixi day EARLY before Neopets went down! I think they've been planning the temporary site down-age. :o

Sun Jul 11, 2004 5:58 am

Ooh, we should all guess exact times! A Mau codestone from me to the person who is closest without going over! (PM me because I will forget or be asleep.)

I'm saying 11:36pm! :D

2 hours sounds about right - but it won't be totally up and running until later in the day - myguess anyway.

Well...when someone rants, it kinda shows that they like to play neopets. If I don't like playing neopets, I wouldn't care much about having the site down and won't make a single noise of it.

I wouldn't think so -- it's not uncommon that they release an early pet day (especially since Monday would be Tuskaninny Day they prolly didn't want to over do the celebration)

Odd timing yes, but it's just a coinsidence.
