TiredFeather: I have held a handful of sand in my inventory ever since we removed sand from the repository....nothing has happened any of the times I visited Coltzans Shrine (even checked source code each time).

While I'm reading any Ra scrolls I can find, I thought of this:

THEORY: (not tested yet)

On the Mysterious Tablet we had 16 symbols

On the scroll racks we have 20 scrolls

Theory
Find the scroll rack that corresponds to your Mysterious Tablet

For example my Tablet had:
lat fer ra kar
tep lat kha kar
set set djo ben
set ahn nem ra

Find the scroll rack with those symbols in the same format as the Tablet

This leaves the last column of scrolls on the racks with four symbols
Read those four scrolls

After that I haven't theorised. I have put this up as a theory in case it sparks someone else's theories and/or new ideas.

was anyone else having a problem getting redirected to their temple instead of the gift shop? I've been trying to open a separate window to get their while I still have the repository window open at the chef's locale, so maybe that's the prob... I tried searching thru posts to see if anyone else had this issue... Need to catch up and am glad something is finally happening!!

That happens if you're still in the temple. You need to exit it.

BTW fellow Ra hunter, I liked the theory on the tablet versus scroll racks... I will still have to blunder around more and get my bearings straight and keep that in mind to test!

Interesting theory. That would be pretty evil, though.

It would not be using the colors/shapes of the scrolls for anything, though. (not that I think we necessarily *have* to consider either).

If someone runs across a scroll rack like that, it would be very interesting.

does anyone know if someone has tried their particular symbol in the order of the rainbow with either white at the beginning or end?? That may be another idea... Hmmm.. might be tricky finding one of each and getting them in the right order, I was thinking like that for the current LC (rainbow order) but it didn't seem to be spelling anything out...

Wooo, got my useless crystal.
I've a feeling that we'll need to trade it with someone, like we did with the t-shirt for the chef, to get a different item.

My two different theories...


1. We have to collect another item from Scordrax this time (Dragon scale ?) and give it to somebody else. They switch and we get the second "half" to the crystal

2. Foreman changes jobs and realises he needs the Crystal. Trade it for something more important

whoever it was was asking...im mapping my scrolls as well.......i have a feeling we are goiung to need a particular sized symbol coloured scroll so im mapping. also since they left us for the weekend wiht very little to do i think they are giving us time to map lol, hopefully tomorrow will bring a new clue

I dont think it has anything to do with Schorax. Its just two different difficulties of challengers.

Do we know if everyone's scroll racks are different from one and other? How do you map the scroll racks?

1. yes, we know that everyone's scrolls are different for sure.
2. never mapped the scrolls, so i join the question: do you just make a tablet with colors/symbols or you really track which scrolls are in every scroll rack?

im taking screenshots of every single scroll rack in each room.....numbering the rooms rather than the scroll racks individually. so far i havent tried to link them together onto one map but i will when i get through with all the rooms on floor one lol its worse than the temple was to do but i think it is going to be very very useful at some stage.
