please recode to make that topbanner ad/animation smaller? That is really slowing me down (dial up) as it is taking awhile to load and I don't seem to be able to scroll down to avoide it while it's loading. Once it does - it moves really fast, which is causing actual physical effects of that big thing blinking, moving, flashing in my poor dizzy eyes.

You're not going to change the sidebar again, are you? I mean everything (the links) will all be in the same place they are now? *whimpers* I don't want to have to do my sidebar --- again.

I've noticed ALOT of slow loading today, on my university connection. It's usually lightning fast and now its like I'm home on 56k.

I've been having the "can't scroll down untill all the images are loaded" problem as well. It's bad enough with the ad taking 30+ seconds on a 10 megabit connection but it's happened to me once or twice where i had to wait for a shop full of images/animations to load before i could scroll down and buy something.
That happend a few times where it was all the images, including items, but many more times where it was just the user images but not the items

Right now, only certain images are being slow for me... some will download right away, but those may be preveously loaded images..... if I see an image I havent seen in the last 5 minutes, it sometimes takes a full minute to load *usually takes about 4 seconds...* so yes, some things are currently loading slower for me.... only images, though. The pages and text are fine. Just some petpets and maps and stuff are being a wee bit slow.

Yes, the images are taking forever to load. I'm on a T1 connection.

5.5 hours after Adams OP, images are still loading slow for me and I'm on a cable connection.

I have to say that the first day you installed the mod-gzip the site was wonderfully and delightfully fast.

Today, the image's especially the top image as well as the banner are loading very slow.

And I'm on a Cable modem.

Earlier today I had trouble with the shops toolbar never loading, had to go to my inventory through pet central - then images in inventory not showing until refreshed (up to 3 times to get them all)...then it was ok.
But now even the games flash pre-loaders are still very slow

For me, it intermittent but just keeps getting slower over the evening. I keep going to different parts of the site & making sure I don't have the images cached, and I'm on a cable modem but not the fastest.

Mines gotten quite slow, no clue why. I have a 2.8 meg cable connection..

i didnt catch which one but one of your larger banner adds comes up image not found that lagged me for a bit while it attempted to keep finding the image.

I have broadband cable and I do notice some slowness. Especially with the shops toolbar.
