Thanks. I definitely buy this, as I know TNT gave us the card catalogs for a reason, and I'm sure it's no coincidence that the lights on the wall are in the card catalog's three colors. I finally got my lights after six (or so) hours of waiting last night, so now it's time to test out some theories!

I know some of you guys mapped your scrolls, I didn't keep records, just searched. Anyway, have you guys noticed any changes in your scroll racks?

Yeah, I've noticed some changes and have heard others say so as well. Thank goodness I stopped myself pretty quickly after I started mapping some of my scroll racks last week because I would not be a happy camper right now.

No, doesn't work. When I was waiting hours and hours for my lights last night, I kept track of which PPT members got the lights at which time, plus their faerie symbols and the order of the three colored dots on their crystals (click on the crystal in your inventory to see those). There was no pattern as far as we could see -- some hours some Fers would get the light and some wouldn't, and during two different hours other Ahns got lights and I didn't. So if there is a pattern, I'm pretty sure it's not by faerie symbol.

i dont know anything about the times but i think i have a good theory and if i find peoples times and symbols i will post

I did read about the holes in the top of the useless crystal and the colors of the card catalog somehow linking together, is that somewhat true? Do you have a better chance of getting the light if you do something with the catalogs?

I've been waiting for about 16 hours now for my light (don't worry I haven't been on the whole time of that, lol....*shifty eyes*)...

...I am Saf, and also it should have to do with some sort of pattern, neopets hasn't really been random at all so far, and it would be quite unfair if they did it that way...so is it at the hour or ten min. because before people were getting it during the middle of the hour and not at the beginning at least I think I remember people doing so...

Ashbashed--this string of posts implies that you think "dirtside" is the Neopets staff member "Mr Insane." Why do you think this? If TNT is actually coming onto the boards to tell us "keep trying, the next step has all been released," that is one thing. But a whole lot of people go onto various boards and pretend to be Neopets staff members. This guy might be a fraud--do you have proof he's who he says he is?

Different subject--remember the housemate who I was helping to map her temple, complete her tablet, etc? She just got her stupid lights. I still haven't seen the things! This is so unfair--I have work to do, I can't check the model city room every hour. Let alone every ten minutes--I'm not sure which is right, as we seem to have competing theories.

Tell you what, I'm not participating in the next plot, whatever it is. This has just about ceased to be fun.

16 hours!? wow, I admire your dedication. I agree, they always have a pattern, I don't think they could be random if they wanted to. I read that alot of people were getting it at the start of the hour, not the middle....maybe they can be random...*nervous glance*

And yes, I checked source to be sure, and saved the page and the crystal (BYR), not copy-paste.

Now to explore theories and the scrollery.

Tell you what, I'm not participating in the next plot, whatever it is. This has just about ceased to be fun.

It's a very good thing I like ancient Egyptian type stuff, or I would have given up on this a very long time ago.

Since discovered I've been trying to ge my light, I came from lunch a few minutes ago, refreshed the depoit and it was there... This is a happy RA hunter with the following order:
xyyxyyrrbxxbbrbr

And yes, I checked source to be sure, and saved the page and the crystal (BYR), not copy-paste.

Now to explore theories and the scrollery.
