Also, the baby, faerie, plushie, maraquan, Royal and Darigan eyries (all the redraws) have proper wings in the proper place. I'm hoping they revamp the non-redraw poses to make the eyrie look like the grand creature it's supposed to be.

St georges dragon

if they want to fly, it can, if they want it to lead a vast army of Boris and destroy the bringer of night with a sling, it will.
please stop now, maybe?

What does that dragon prove? It's not a gryphon, or a bird.

I did intend to stop talking about it after my post (my very first on the subject, by the way), because this thread is for unreleased stuff and not arguments about eyrie wings, but I don't appreciate your last sentence.

Only probably with this is the head looks like it's just the head of the normal Eyrie pasted on... and I always found the head to look the most awkward on the Eyries...

I don't know. The head looks a bit flat to me. XD

Now this is impressive. The eyes on the Angry pose looks a bit odd to me, since the pupiles shrink to nothing, like a macaws would. This makes me want a Faerie over a Darigan Eyrie.

One word:C8)8)L! They look so awesome it makes me want an eyrie.

yeah it makes me get a eyrie instead of a hissi! that looks good but I wonder if they'll give regular eyries a better look

Wow, these colors are great. I hope that I'll paint my eyrie maraquan. If my eyrie was a female, I would paint him faerie.

sorry. the arguments about the positioning of wings on a fictional beast (based upon a mythological beast no less) tend to blurr into one whole mess of pointlessness.

The more I look at that, the less I like it. The Eyrie and the Background don't intertwine. It's like they were drawn sperately and then copy/pasted together. The feet don't seem to stand on the ground.

This effect is achieved by the Eyrie throwing no shadow at all, making it obvious that he was pasted in. Rather sad, seeing that there are not enough Eyrie pics around :D

Ahhh! That's what it is. Despite the flames and the sun behind it, its not casting a shadow. There is a reason behind my thinking :P

I giggled when I saw this earlier:
Image
"Yaarrr!!!!!.......oh, fudge, I chipped a claw..."

edit: After gazing at it for a while - is the Eyrie actually doing one of those "wave over here" gestures and looking at an opponent? That's what my fiance thinks, but I could swear he's staring at his paw...

Odd.

Wasn't Powlex Adam's old advertising company before he & Donna got Neopets running?

On the topic of unreleased, anyone know what Halloween pets we should be expecting this year? That is, which haven't been released yet?

(I'm too lazy to go to NeoColours. :))

Off the top of my head Hissi, Bori, Kyrii (it would have to be a brand new one since the one that was on the server forever was finally removed in recent months), Eyrie, Scorchio, Draik, Skeith, Usul, Uni (perhaps a Nightsteed clone?), Quiggle, Pteri, Poogle, Grundo, Flotsam, Elephante, and Chomby.

Not to mention that may like release some ghost colors as well.
