Well, I'm far from millionaire status at the moment. My main ways of income are:
Restocking.
and HTS Trading.
HTS Trading can be extremely profitable with some patience and NP to start with. I personally like to buy Species Weapons and r99. Buy off desperate people who are willing to sell at a low price, and then sell to people who would like it for a collection or need it for a quest.

I made my first few million playing games (I get around 20k a day from six or seven games -- Bilge Dice alone gets me 5-7k), doing contests like the Mystery Pic and Lenny Conundrum, and doing inexpensive Taelia and Kitchen Quests. I made my next few million playing Volcano Run in the World Challenge and selling the map pieces. I'm a terrible restocker and don't have enough patience for the stock market, so this works for me. You just have to try a bunch of things and find out what you're good at (and, more importantly, what you like doing -- playing Neopets shouldn't be a chore).

Stocks are one HELL of a way to make money but i am actually quite clueless about it... Anyone has a guide for it?

Simplest guide is this:
Buy at 15 NP. Buy 1,000 at a time.
Repeat daily.
Aim to have a variety of different stocks.
Don't even think about selling a particular stock until it's priced at at least 30 NP. If at that point you sell 500 of the 1,000, you have your 15,000 NP for that day's stock purchase. Personally, I don't sell until 45, and some prefer higher.
Hold onto the other half until the price goes even higher.
Be patient -- prices eventually go up, but they often go down along the way. Never sell at a loss.
(Actually, I suppose the simplest guide is Buy low. Sell high. Same principle as shops. But the above has a little more detail.)

Those are pratically what the guides said at ppt guides area. I'm trying these out and hopefully i can earn some more. but 1000 stocks max for 1 day is pretty low... I should have started earlier.

http://www.neodaq.com/ taught me all I needed to know for the stock market. There's info there for beginners and more advanced players.
I did just a few hours of restocking over the weekend on both the wiz and in shops and made about 100,000 NP. Pretty good weekend for me.

The only way I make Neopoints is by game play and getting lucky.
I make 30k a day easy playing the games 3 times each, I usually spend 10k of that on the slots though lol sometimes I get lucky and make a quick 50k on them, but all in all I don't think I have won or lost on them
I guess all you can do is play and try to save. There is no quick short cut.

I got 3.3 million from a combination of games and restocking, then won 1.2 million from the lottery. My NP however has not gotten any higher than that in 2 years since restocking since my connection was outclassed too much by others.

Mine is always around the 1 mill mark lol I like to buy too many pixels
never have been good at saving lol
